A drought tolerant succulent shrub native to Peru, this short annual forms upright bushy mounds up to 30cm tall. Its green stems carry thin, narrow, whorled lime-green leaves that feature a darker green window along their top surface. Grown for its small size, delicate leaves and striking foliage, the Pincushion

Peperomia, or Happy Bean, is an easy care container plant in homes, enjoying being slightly pot-bound, and perfect for dish gardens, windowsills and desktops, but it’s also useful as a filler in landscaping. A position in bright light without direct full sun is best. Caring for Peperomia is easy, keeping an eye on humidity and light levels, and avoiding over-watering.
