This miniature hybrid Mexican is terribly cute, with tiny, clubby rosettes and frosted blue leaves that become coral-pink tipped in full sun. Rosette-forming, it will develop into a gorgeous showy cluster that fits into all garden schemes and makes an exceptional houseplant, either alone or in combination with other succulents.

This desert dweller tolerates full sun to part shade, though may flower less in shade—in bloom, flowers are bell-shaped and in tones of peachy orange. Water deeply, infrequently, and only half as much in winter. Ensure well-draining slightly gritty soil, and for optimum performance plant in shallow dishes which help avoid soggy soil.
