Native to the Cape Province of South Africa, this rare dwarf succulent is smaller than most Haworthias, which are all fairly small succulents. A slow-growing, easy houseplant to grow, this decorative little dark green plant has slender, pale yellowish green leaves with spines, which form large clusters of open rosettes that feature a deep red centre. Rosettes will grow to around 8cm in diameter.

Liking light shade to shade, and often grown in small clusters in shallow, wide, dishes, this plant can also be grown in unusual containers, such as vintage teacups, provided the container has good drainage. Avoid overwatering.
