Description: This crassula is accurately named after its colourful foliage which becomes more of a prominent, deeper red colour when the plant is exposed to extreme cold or warm sun.
Flowers: small white buttercup blooms in the Summer.
Size: Small compact shrubs up to 15cm tall and clumps about 90cm wide.
Growing Season: Summer
Origin: Hybrid origins, very similar Crassula ‘campfire’ but this variety is more compact.
Positioning: Full to part sun.
Care Instructions: The Crassula species are susceptible to root rot and fungal diseases, so it is important that your succulent is never left to sit in water. We recommend the use of a good quality potting soil mixed with sand to create a well drained environment. Allow the soil to dry out completely between thorough watering.
This Crassula is a garden grown hybrid and will thrive in tropical climates. These conditions can be easily replicated in Australian gardens by allowing the plant to dry out completely between deep watering.
