The Jellybean Plant is a fun succulent whose leaves resemble jelly beans. A low-growing evergreen perennial, it features chubby leaves around 2.5cm long that spiral around their stem. Stems sprawl and spread to form a compact, trailing groundcover around 20cm tall and 30cm wide. The plant will bloom with yellow, star-shaped flowers which contrast beautifully with its green leaves. Leaves are also colour changing, turning red at the tips in full sun in summertime, before returning to a bright green in winter.

A perfect groundcover or container plant, it is a happy companion plant to other perennials and looks gorgeous in rockeries, succulent gardens or hanging baskets. This Mexican native is an easy plant to care for, with the ability to adapt to different light conditions. Water sparingly and ensure a well-draining potting mix is used. Place in full sun to part shade—while generally a sun-lover, protect from scorching sun.
