This is a rare hybrid of Graptopetalum amethystinum and Echeveria purpusorum and can be quite hard to get hold of. A very slow growing plant, it forms rosettes up to 7.5cm wide with chubby, grey-green leaves that have lighter edges and which will blush a violet tint under bright light. It is heat and drought tolerant, tolerating bright shade to full sun, with full sun achieving the best colouration.

When planted as a container plant, it needs good drainage and will thrive with a mixture of peat, sand or other grit in its soil but will also do well in average soil. Water moderately and avoid overwatering.
