Indian Corn Cob, Corn Cob Plant, Corncob Euphorbia, Corncob Cactus, Corn Cob Spurge; Also known as the Indian Corn Cob for their distinctly edible shape, these hail from the Cape Province of South Africa, and are a succulent which forms a dense cluster featuring many tiny-leaved deep green branches.

This is an easy to grow, self-sufficient species but you might pamper it a bit when young. Younger plants are happy growing inside your home—usually maxing out at 35cm though they have been known to grow to reach the ceiling! Give Euphorbias plenty of sun and well-drained soil. Note that like all Euphorbias, the sap of the Corn Cob Spurge is an irritant so do not allow contact with face or eyes.

NOTE: Euphorbia’s are for ornamental purposes only. The milky sap can be toxic and can cause adverse reactions if it comes into contact with the skin or eyes. Do not ingest. Euphorbias do not typically require pruning or maintenance, but take care when handling.
