A highly interesting house plant originating from Brazil, the so-called “Naked Lady” shrub forms a small tree with a short trunk divided into ribbed branches which form an attractive crown shape. The name of this Euphorbia relates to a peculiar phosphorescent light that it can emit at night.

Enjoyed as a container plant or houseplant, it provides year round interest and also makes the perfect addition to a rock garden or waterwise garden. Treated as a cactus, it requires water only occasionally and likes free-draining soil and high light levels.

NOTE: Euphorbia’s are for ornamental purposes only. The milky sap can be toxic and can cause adverse reactions if it comes into contact with the skin or eyes. Do not ingest. Euphorbias do not typically require pruning or maintenance, but take care when handling.
