The Agave ‘Blue Wave’ is a succulent plant that is also known as the Agave, Mauritius Hemp, or Gypsum Century Plant. It is a low-maintenance plant that produces small shoots, or “pups,” from the base of the plant, which can be used to propagate new plants or fill empty spots in your garden.

This unique Agave produces tall stems with clusters of delicate yellow flowers, creating a beautiful display of color and texture. It is native to hot and dry climates in Mexico and can be easily grown in Australian gardens by mixing sand with high-quality potting mix and allowing the soil to dry out between deep watering.

The Agave ‘Blue Wave’ is drought-tolerant and prefers full sun, making it an ideal plant for those who want to add some texture and color to their garden without too much maintenance. It can grow up to 1 meter in height and has striking blue-green foliage with wavy leaves that make it stand out from other succulents.

This Agave should be protected from frost during winter, but otherwise requires little care or attention, making it a great choice for both novice and experienced gardeners alike.
