This beautiful, easy to grow and unique looking succulent is native to Madagascar. A vertical grower, it grows up to half a metre tall. When its long stems reach back down to the ground, it takes root, leading to its common name of Walking Kalanchoe. Prized for their long-lasting, gorgeous flowers which are tubular in shape and very light pink to red, the foliage is equally attractive, being huge, fleshy dark green leaves with a red edge.
A drought-tolerant succulent, this plant requires minimal care but can be sensitive to light (tips of leaves can burn). Perfect for rock gardens or containers. Set well-draining pots in partial sun to light shade and watch for water distress.
