The Aloe Ellenbeckii, also known as the Aloe Dumetorum, is a stunning succulent that is sure to catch the eye of any plant lover. With its bell-shaped flowers in shades of rose to mauve, this plant adds a beautiful contrast to any garden or indoor space.

This hardy and drought-tolerant plant produces offsets from the base, which spread into small clumps over time. It thrives in a sunny and well-drained position, whether planted in the ground or in a pot. For potted plants, it is recommended to mix sand with a good quality potting mix to ensure proper drainage.

Native to Ethiopia, Kenya, and Somalia, the Aloe Ellenbeckii prefers dry and hot climates, which can easily be replicated in Australian gardens. It is best to allow the succulent to dry out between deep watering and keep it drier during the winter months.

The Aloe Ellenbeckii is a petite and low-growing plant that can reach up to 30cm in height. It features narrow fleshy leaves in a dark green shade, with white speckles and small spines along the edges. Overall, the Aloe Ellenbeckii is a striking and easy-to-care-for succulent that is sure to thrive in any sunny and well-drained location.
